WRITING THE EXAM: 1. Allowed to use pencil in Multiple Choice 2. Four Stickers (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4) given at start of exam to be pasted appropriately on the Answer papers as instructed - Manage your time 5. Do not write on Question Paper - Results of the exam will o be informed by Airmail or else via Customer Portal. 6. Take Eraser, Scale, Two Good pencils, Sharpener and Two good pensCell phones, calculators etc are not allowed
SMOKE TESTS Smoke tests get their name from the electronics industry. Circuits are laid out on a "bread board" and power is applied. If anything starts smoking, there is a problem and testing stops.In the software industry, smoke testing is a shallow and wide approach to the application. Smoke test is also known as a "Build Verification Test" or BVT.
SANITY TESTS "Sanity testing" and "smoke testing" are often felt to be the same thing. Where a distinction is made, it's usually in one of two directions. Either sanity testing is a focussed but limited form of regression testing – narrow and deep, but cursory; or it's broad and shallow, like smoke test, but concerned more with the possibility of "insane behaviour" such as slowing the entire system to a crawl, or destroying the database.
